  • We absolutely LOVED this house! Here are some of the things that stood out: - The place was already stocked with child/pet supplies. We usually trek around with baby gates and dishes, but this place already had what we needed. We didn’t bring a dog, but there were dog beds and bowls as well. - The beds were SO comfortable! I generally don’t sleep well on vacation, but I slept like the dead! - The soaking tub was amazing! I took many baths during our stay and was so happy with it. - The tap water tasted amazing. It helped me stay hydrated. - The house was minutes from downtown, but also within walking distance of amazing hiking trails. My whole family loved this house and we’re already trying to figure out with we can return! Highly recommend!

  • We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. Having access to a high chair and baby items made traveling with our one year old so much easier. The beds were really comfortable. The location was great—close to downtown Stowe but still quiet and private. The views on the way up and down were beautiful and being so close to the Pinnacle trail is a bonus. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

  • We had an amazing time in Vermont! This home was absolutely perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 little kids. They truly had everything you could possibly need for kids of all ages! The high chair, toys, and double bunk beds were a big hit for our group. The location is perfect, it’s only a few minutes into town but still felt very private. We would highly recommend this home to any of our friends and family visiting the area! Great hosts!

  • Our family of four (+ 2 goldens) had a wonderful stay at the chalet. The yard is large and welcoming with tons of sunlight and the number of spots to relax felt endless. Details were well attended to, from the number of coffee makers on hand (drip, pour over and french press) to the seating choices and everything was quite clean. We can’t say enough about the convenience of being 7 minutes from the heart of downtown - we hiked, biked, ate out, ate in and felt no pressure to do any without the option of changing plans. The views of Mansfield from just down the road were 10/10. Look forward to staying during the winter soon!

Snow

The driveway is plowed in the winter, but you may have to shovel a short walkway. The house is off a gravel road. In mud season (March and April), there may be ruts and spongy conditions. The town is very good about maintenance but be aware that dainty cars may have issues in the worst conditions. If you take Route 100 to Goldbrook Rd, you will only have to travel about .25 of a mile on the gravel road.
